Welcome to Hua Hin
The Royal Beach Resort. Hua Hin, a seaside resort town in Prachuab Khirikhan province is the gateway to the south of Thailand. Located a couple of hours by road or railway from Bangkok, making it quite convenient and accessible.
Travelling to Hua Hin isn’t boring either, along the way, you may want to stop to visit Salt Farms, Floating Markets, Palaces, Mangroves, and much more. If you choose to take the inner road to Cha-Am, you’ll pass through small coastal villages that have “condos” for swiftlets, famous for their Birds Nest soup. Also this bypass has some very good, and very local, cheap seafood eateries (some we can’t even call restaurants).
It is often said that Hua Hin has a twin town called Cha Am, the two beach towns are 20 kilometers apart, but with development growing, you can hardly tell they are two different towns. Interestingly though, Cha Am belongs to Petchaburi province, whilst Hua Hin is part of Prachuab Khirikhan province.
Once in Hua Hin you’ll realize that the town consists of one main road, and several alleys, which we call Soi’s, branching to the left and right, it is in these nooks & crannies you’ll find Mom & Pop shops mostly.
Further on down the coast, you’ll find many more beautiful beaches and islands, plus nature abound.
